EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS/ CHARACTER
Must have skills in public relations which demands an excellent command of English
and/or German language;
Must have minimum two (2) years vessel experience;
Must have typing skills;
Must have Computer skills: iOS, Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Outlook,
Fidelio Cruise (or similar ship management software), Stock Control System;
Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and passengers;
Should be reliable and able to work unsupervised;
Must be able to work flexible time schedule and to the Company’s standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be friendly to passengers and crew as well as focused on job tasks;
Carry out hourly safety inspections to specific check points as outlined in the Hotel
Management Manual;
Report all unusual matters;
Be available on switchboards when at front office desk/ vessel’s reception;
Assist Front Office personnel in guests’ administration;
Assist with check-in/ check-out during the unusual hours;
Assist Restaurant in preparation of breakfast set-up during early morning hours;
Assist Laundry in filling washing machines and tumblers;
Be aware and follow security/fire/safety procedures according to the Vessel’s
standards and regulations;
Follow the uniform dress code at all times whilst on duty and act in a responsible and
professional manner;
Report/forward all matters to Hotel Manager and/or Captain.
